IMECA - GROUPE REEL PRESENTATION

IMECA is now part of the REEL French Group.
Such synergy strengthens IMECA’s position in terms of technical development and international expansion, more particularly in Brazil.
Created in 1946, the REEL Group is specialized in the design, manufacturing, commissioning and maintenance of lifting and handling equipment.
Represented worldwide, the REEL Group regroups more than 1600 staff members and has shown a 15 % annual average growth for 12 years.
IMECA provides the complete design and manufacturing of hydraulic / electric lifting and laying equipment such as pipe and riser A&R winches, deep water buoy winches, mooring equipment for FPSOs, pipe laying systems with tensioners.
Engineering is carried out in Fontenay-le-Comte, while manufacturing, assembly, testing and delivery are covered through two other IMECA’s production sites: one in Le Trait for medium to large-sized equipment; the other in La Pallice Harbor (La Rochelle) for ultra-large sized equipment.
Furthermore, IMECA’s know-how is now strengthened by the expertise and powers of the REEL Group.
IMECA ensures a high level of quality through a DNV certification and a quality plan conforming to ISO 9001 standards, as well as through a team of qualified engineers able to operate either onshore or offshore.
Being focused on industrial performance, IMECA provides its customers around the world with innovative tailor-made solutions and offers a convenient quayside facility at La Rochelle Harbor, deepwater port (14m water depth) facilitating shipping worldwide.
